Product design through the lens of art, music, and nature.

Hi, I'm Chelsea! I’m a multidisciplinary designer with 5 years of UX/product experience and 10+ years of design experience. My background spans fine art, photography, video, graphic design, music, and marketing. That mix of disciplines and approaches—creative, research-based, and psychology-focused—is what drew me to UX. I love that it blends art and science.

MY IMPACT ----------------------------------

👩‍💻 User-Centered Design: My work focuses on creating seamless, intuitive experiences that make a positive impact on people's lives and contribute to meaningful change.

👩‍🎨 Multidisciplinary Experimentation & Learning: I’m always hungry to learn the next thing or explore a new field or hobby. I bring that into my UX practice, blending logic with artistry, psychology and emotion, systems thinking with design thinking, and looking at a problem from different perspectives to create truly meaningful, engaging experiences.

🎨 Creative + Logical Thinking: I thrive at the intersection of research-driven problem-solving and artistic vision, ensuring designs are both helpful and inspiring.

🏛️ Cross-Industry Experience: Designed complex digital experiences in ed-tech (Strategic Education), government (BAM Technologies for the Air Force), startups, SaaS, and both B2C and B2B small businesses. I even was a multimedia producer for MIT's art program (yes, MIT has an art program).

🔄 End-to-End Product Thinking: From product design and development, brand consistency, marketing, and content production, I understand the full ecosystem of digital experiences and how they drive engagement.

⚙️ Design Systems Specialist: I always advocate for product teams to build their design systems on solid foundations, validating components through user experience testing and ensuring they are developed in powerful, scalable and flexible environments using design tokens.

📈 Team-Oriented & Growth-Driven: I bring an ownership mentality, inspire collaboration, and thrive in fast-moving environments where I can make an impact and grow.

----------------------------------

I currently live in Longmont, CO, where I work remotely for Strategic Education. In my free time, I play cello in a local orchestra, do film photography, rock climb, hike, crochet, and shuffle dance.
